Thank you for looking at ways to help! We are always glad to welcome another member into our SOP family and another partner in our continued efforts to save the pools. Make a Donation
It would be crazy of us not to mention that you can donate money to the pools. There is a dedicated fund through the City of Dearborn, through which you can donate money. To donate, contact the Finance Department. Here is the contact information.
Volunteer
As you can see on our events page, we have many ways for you to get involved. If you are interested in learning how you can volunteer to support the pools, contact us at saveourpools@yahoo.com.
Purchase Swag and Show it Off
SOP has, at various times, offered shirts for its supporters to wear around town. When the free shirts are not available, you still have an opportunity to show your support for SOP. Click here to check out the different options available and place your order today!
Use Social Media
Not only are we making a splash in Dearborn, but we have a strong presence online as well. If you would like to know what SOP is up to, Like us on Facebook, Follow us on Twitter, and Check In on Foursquare when you are at the pools (see links at bottom of page). This leads us to....
Speak Out!
The best way for your family, friends, and elected officials to know what you want for Dearborn and for your own recreation is to Speak Out! Talk to others about the pools and how they can get involved. Also, take a moment to talk to the elected officials in Dearborn. Not only do they have approval power over the budget, but they are representatives of each one of Dearborn residents, as well as those who seek to enjoy the facilities and amenities that Dearborn offers. Your voice matters and you can make a difference.
Keep It Going
If you are interested in writing an opinion piece for the local media about the pools, send it to us and we can help get it to the right people. If you have a blog post where you have talked about the pools or an article about the pools or even a comment about the pools on an article that's not, send it to us and we can make sure everyone else knows about it too!
